  • New Frontier is an egalitarian organization which upholds the standards of the Conservative/Masorti movement. Teens that are Shomer Shabbat will indicate this in their registration and will have a walking-distance home. During Shabbat, we do not write, play music, or use electronics — however, at non-Shomer Shabbat homes, teens are free to observe their own comfort levels. Shabbat afternoon will have options for quidditch, friendship bracelets, board games, an extra sicha, etc. Our programs are often attended by teens who do not observe Shabbat and are quite enjoyable regardless.
